Dr. Lucero Sanabria-Parrilla

Associate Dentist - Prosthodontist

Dr. Lucero Sanabria-Parrilla was born in Colombia-South America and became a citizen of United States in 1997. From 1994 until her
admission to New York University, she worked in a federally funded Community Health Center in Pennsylvania as the clinic’s Special
Program Coordinator. She earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Sant Martin University in Bogota-Colombia and 20 years later,
she received for a second time in her live a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University Dental School. Dr Lucero Sanabria-
Parrilla completed The American Board of Prosthodontics certification in 2017.


Over 30 years of experiences as dentist she had served as an Assistance Professor at San Martin University in Colombia, owned/
operated her private practice as General Dentist, and for the past 15 years, she served in The United States Army Dental Corp as a
clinician, board certified specialist in Prosthodontics. Since 1987, Dr. Lucero Sanabria-Parrilla before starting her military career, she actively participated in various community services, as educator for cancer prevention and screening methods, during this time she was honored to be the recipient of several awards for community services. she received recognition from the American Cancer Society, The Pennsylvania Department of Health, The Migrant Workers Program, The BlueChip Program.


As part of the Army Corps, she served as educator for Active-duty military, and their families, Retiree militaries, and underprivileged
communities. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontist and Texas Dental
Association. Dr. Lucero Sanabria-Parrilla’s military awards include The Meritorious Services Medal, The Army Commendation Medal (two oak leaf clusters), The Army Achievement Medal (one oak leaf clusters), and other service ribbons. In her free time, Dr. Lucero Sanabria-Parrilla, love to paint using different mediums like oil painting, watercolor painting, and pastel painting technique. Dr. Sanabria-Parrilla and her husband, Jesus Luis Parrilla enjoys travelling together. She is currently an active volunteer with the St. Helen Catholic church as one of the choir members.
